How it all began
i'VE ALWAYS SEEN THE WORLD A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY
From a young age I was drawn to the details others walked past — the small, quiet things that make a moment feel like something. One Christmas I asked for a camera, and that was it. Through the lens, everything made sense. I saw beauty in places I hadn't noticed before.
But life gets busy, and somewhere along the way I lost that feeling. It wasn't until a close friend looked at me and said "there is so much beauty in where we live" that something sparked back to life. Around the same time, I found myself on the sidelines of my husband's Australian football games — camera in hand, chasing the action, the energy, the cheers and the frustration and all of it. I fell in love all over again.
I never looked back.

I don't have a niche — and I'm proud of that. Portraits, sports, seniors, families, newborns, events, animals, small businesses, creative — I show up for all of it, and I'm always excited to learn and grow with every session I create. That variety is what keeps the joy alive for me.
I'm based in Ankeny, Iowa, married to my best friend Ben, and sharing life with our two fur babies Murphy and Marley. When I'm not shooting, I'm probably planning our next road trip, tending my garden, or finding something to be obsessed about this fall season.
At the end of the day, what I want most is simple — I want you to open your gallery and feel happy. Happy and seen. Happy and proud of the life you're living. Happy that you stopped and made time for this moment, because one day you'll be so glad you did.
My promise to you
Nervous about being in front of the camera? Good — that means you're human. I've never met anyone who said "I just love having my photo taken" and meant it. But I have met plenty of people who left a session saying they actually had a blast. That's what I'm here for.
Don't stress about being perfect. The best photos never come from perfect — they come from real. The laugh you didn't plan, the look you didn't know I caught, the in-between moment that ends up being your favorite. Show up as you are, bring your people, bring your energy, and let me take it from there. I'll hype you up, make you laugh, and catch all the good stuff in between.

Happiest in the middle of nowhere.
Camping, hiking, chasing national parks — if there's fresh air and a trail involved, I'm already packing my bags.
Fall is my entire personality.
The second September hits I am fully unhinged about it. Spooky movies, cozy vibes, changing leaves — I live for all of it.
Homemade or bust.
Store-bought has never once beaten homemade in my house. Sourdough, meals from scratch, you name it — I'll always choose to make it myself.
Certified plant obsessed.
My plant collection keeps growing and I have zero intention of stopping. If it's green and it needs water, I probably already own it.
