When should we book?

Honestly, the sooner the better! Spring and fall book up fast and I would hate for you to miss out on your ideal date. I recommend reaching out as soon as you start thinking about senior photos — even if you are not quite ready to commit, it never hurts to get on my radar early. Just keep in mind that your date is not officially reserved until your retainer is complete. The remaining balance is not due until three days before your session, so there is no pressure to pay everything upfront.

What should I wear to my session?

This is one of the most common questions I get and honestly the answer is simple — wear something that feels like you! Think a mix of something nice, something casual, and something that is truly you. That combination gives us variety and keeps the gallery feeling authentic from start to finish.


For her, pieces that flow and create movement photograph beautifully. Don't forget the details like jewelry, a floral accessory or bouquet, and shoes that photograph well can elevate your whole look.


For him, well fitted clothing always looks sharp, nothing too baggy or too tight. Layering pieces like a jacket, flannel, or hoodie add depth and dimension. Clean sneakers or boots, a favorite hat, or a simple watch go a long way.


For everyone, avoid busy patterns and logos as they can be distracting in photos.  Most importantly wear something you feel confident and comfortable in because that energy always comes through.

What should we bring to our session?

Bring anything that makes you, you! A favorite hat, your sport or instrument, your car, your pet, a meaningful item — if it represents who you are, it has a place in your session. We will chat beforehand so we can plan how to incorporate everything in a way that feels natural and intentional. The more personality the better!

What if my senior doesn't know how to pose?

That is exactly what I am here for! Most seniors feel a little awkward in front of the camera at first and that is completely normal. I will guide you through everything with gentle, easy direction so the whole session feels natural and fun. I will be hyping you up the entire time — I promise you will forget the camera is even there.

How do we choose locations?

Totally up to you! If you already have a spot in mind — somewhere that means something to you or just feels like you — let's use it. If you are not sure, that is what I am here for. I love helping seniors and parents pick a location that matches the vibe and personality of the person we are celebrating; feels most like you is where we should be!
